Those of you who enjoyed my basketball novel Slam Dunk will be happy to know I’ve signed a contract for a new sports/mystery with Orca, provisionally entitled Edge of Flight. This one is about rock climbing and it’s set in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. It will come out in the fall of 2012.

Meanwhile, with the help of a grant from the Ontario Arts Council, I’m also working on a mystery novel entitled Endangered.  In this East-coast adventure, 18-year-old newspaper reporter Hayley Makk is assigned to cover a story about endangered wildlife, and ends ups discovering a black-market smuggling ring and the key to a murder.
